Largely aimed at [livejournal.com profile] elmyra, [livejournal.com profile] baloonworld, [livejournal.com profile] raiyden and [livejournal.com profile] duke_of_krondor:

Are you lot still up for new years at the house of aargh? There's plenty of room for staying over etc. If you are, let me know so I can get supplies in and also let me know what time you're planning on getting there, friday or saturday.

Anyone else who is not in Germany or eating Marco Polo's spleen, feel free to join us!

Paul and I will most likely be around, but that partially depends on road conditions and the extent of damage to Mr. Brum (theoretically he's drivable). Hopefully I'll be able to let you know more tomorrow once I'm actually in the country. What do you want us to bring?

Bring any alcohol you like, as we won't have any of that. Other than that, any nibble etc you feel like.

We have lots of chocolate already :)

We don't really do the alcohol thing either. I have a bottle of Champagne kicking around from the company Christmas hamper but I doubt anyone in your house will drink it. ;-)

Depending on how traumatised I am from getting home and stuff, I may make Strudel... :-)

I'll make sure we have a supply of soft drinks.

I don't think I've ever had home made strudel... Is it a good cure for traumatisation? Or does it make it worse?

There are people in the house that drink, but I don't think they'll be around.

Having some time off and relaxing is the best way to deal with stress, but if we dont see you have a lovely new year.
