Cosplay update
Jan. 30th, 2008 06:46 amTwo costumes for Minami now completely finished - Jessica and Bonta-Chidori. I spent saturday making a bowler hat out of felt, cardboard and a pudding basin and I'm quite happy with the results. It even stays on my head reasonably well, which is impressive because I had to guess what sized pudding bowl I needed. (I couldn't really stand in a kitchen shop and put things on my head!)
Secret costume needs some work done on the wig; Kirara needs some more details on the head and the tails attaching, and marchello needs some fastenings added, but hopefully that will all get done this weekend. The only major piece of work I have left is Riiya, and I'm not sure I'd have time to wear him, so I'm not too fussed if he doesn't get finished.
I've started picking out costumes for Ame,adn I'm currently looking at Ivy from Soul Caibre for Odango-chan's mass Soul Calibre group; a random black-and-purple dress from an episode of Zombie Loan, adn Adell adn Rozalin from Disgaea 2 for the ball. I'll probably pick something else for the masquarde, or do Ivy if lots of people want to do Soul Calibre. At somepoint I probably should have a look at the game :)
Can't wait for Minami. Now it feels like I won't have to rush any costumes, the month is really starting to drag. Still, we do need the time to sort out Wessex evil plans etc, so I's probably a good thing. I need to speak to people a out co-ordinating transport, which may be interesting.
